Masouri Beach
The main organised beach: sand, sunbeds and a beach bar
Masouri is the island's main beach. It has sand, sunbeds with umbrellas, a beach bar and a gentle slope into the water. The village above it is the centre of tourist life on Kalymnos.

The essentials
| Surface | Sand, one of the few properly sandy beaches on the island |
|---|---|
| Sunbeds | Yes, with umbrellas in season |
| Food and drink | Beach bar on the sand, tavernas in the village above |
| Getting there | Steps down from the Masouri road, parking along the village road |
| Good for | First visit, families, easy beach days |
The water deepens slowly, which makes this the most comfortable swimming beach for kids. In July and August it gets busy by Kalymnos standards. There is still room, just not silence.
Staying in Masouri means you can do the whole holiday on foot: beach below, restaurants on the village road, climbing sectors on the hill behind.
